work work work

I'm exhausted already and it's only just begun.

Today starts my work week from hell... tues. 8am thru fri. 4pm... sounds exciting, i know. for those of you who aren't aware of what i do, I am a TSS, working with elvis, who is deaf. i am here to help him through his day with some tasks, take him here and there, go to work with him, etc. He's a pretty cool guy, which makes the job somewhat easy, but his girlfriend is a tool, who i can't seem to deal with very well. Right now i'm on a 56 hour block shift (yes, I stay overnight...blah.), but when school starts i'll be doing 24hr. shifts. anyways.

well i got to elvis's today and found out he did not go into work today. he works at the landfill in leeper. it excited me to find out i didn't have to go to the stinky dump today. so i napped till noon. it was great. then i went home to see nath and adam & to pick up my computer. and i'm sitting in my staff room typing away, trying to pass time. elvis says we're going to tionesta later to fish... again. it's like the only thing he likes to do, i swear. but i can't complain, i get paid to sit with him.

last sunday i cleaned a trailer for my landlord bc she's allergic to bleach/cleaners/everything... so i worked my ass off for 5 hours and made $40.. not bad. Except i almost choked to death from oven cleaner and i blistered my hands to hell from using multiple cleaning solutions and not wearing gloves... i'm lovin it. next time, open some windows for ventilation and invest in some rubber gloves.

Nathan and I ordered our tickets for the Coheed and Cambria show Sept. 29th in Pittsburgh. I'm way excited. This will be the first time he sees them!!! third for me, but i'm sooo pumped!

Went shopping in erie yesterday with nathan, his mom, and his grandma... well, that was fun. They are always entertaining. I purchased a new sign language book... signing for dummies... it's pretty good so far. Can't wait to show off my sign language skills to dr. mcaleer in a few weeks.... which reminds me, once again, i have to mention the fact that i am really looking forward to this semester beginning... don't ask why. i haven't quite figured it out yet.

Elvis has notified me that we are going to tionesta soon... i'm out. peace.
